Exhibition Concept
The will to lose one’s will" 暴力的な筆致を用い、思考と無思考の間に生じる瞬間を描き出す。
This exhibition explores the unique sensation that emerges through the deliberate abandonment of will during the creative process. The focus is on navigating the boundary between consciousness and unconsciousness, emphasizing the creation of an intermediate state. In considering this sensation, a passage from a Francis Bacon interview resonated with this thought: "The will to lose one’s will." Through violent brushstrokes, this work captures the moments that arise between thought and non-thought.
